From the field

At the end of a forest road spur, south of Twisp, Washington, there is a spacious, primitive clearing nestled among Jefferson pines. This is along the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route and is an ideal place to spend the night if passing through. No cell service. Private, lovely, and unspoiled, next to a small stream and a fire circle. Good find. Recommended.
