Concordia's Airport Park campground is fee-BY-DONATION for short stays -- the city's own wording -- so there is no set nightly charge, but you are expected to drop something in the box. Up to 7 days. The city describes 10 drive-through and 4 back-in pads with water and electric, a dump station on site, and utilities available year round. Note that 4 spots are set aside for long-term camping at $150 per week; those are NOT the donation sites, so make sure you are parked in the right ones. The deal these towns offer is simple: camp free, and they hope you buy fuel, groceries or dinner in town. Be a good guest and it stays free for the next traveler. Town rules change often and we have not visited -- confirm current rules with the town before you go.
