How it was placed
https://www.blm.gov/visit/brushkana-creek-campground (read 2026-08-17). THIS IS A FEE SITE -- FEE: $20 per night for overnight use; all sites first come, first served. Opening and closing dates are weather-dependent -- generally Memorial Day through the fall. 22 units with fire rings and picnic tables, three double vaulted accessible toilets, bear-proof trash receptacles and food lockers, trailer parking, potable water, trails, a picnic shelter and interpretive panels. BLM says winter physically closes the campground road, which is then reachable only on foot, by dog sled or by snowmachine. Brushkana Creek and Tangle Lakes are the ONLY developed public campgrounds on the 135-mile Denali Highway. Nearest town/services per the page: Cantwell (west end of the Denali Highway) / Paxson (east end). | auto:agency-trust 2026-08-18: state agency GIS record with a source URL and coordinates, confidence not low. Fee value is the agency's own, not field-checked. Not field-verified -- confirm access, road conditions and fire rules before you go.
