The land manager lists this site. Someone from the agency inventoried it, so it is a real camp — not a spot we guessed at. What changes is conditions — roads, gates, closures, fire rules. Check those with the unit before you commit to the drive.

FREE full-hookup camping: the City of Seminole lets you camp free at the RV sites on the NORTH end of the City Park (on N.W. 5th Street, between the park and the Civic Building), with sewer, water and 30-amp electric. Before you plug in, stop at City Hall (302 S. Main St.) to pick up a camping permit and a key for the utility box -- display the permit on your windshield, and return the key when you leave (there's a night drop on the west side of City Hall if you're leaving after hours). Max stay is 3 days. The sites are back-in and fairly short, meant for RVs under about 32 feet; longer rigs may be able to pull along the curb when it isn't crowded. A genuinely free full-hookup stop in Gaines County; the town hopes you'll fuel up, eat and shop local. Confirm the current rules with the City of Seminole before you rely on it, and be a considerate guest so the free stay stays open.
