- Surface water mapped nearby: West Arm South Fork Sevenmile Canyon (stream). That is wash water at best, and nobody has checked it for you — a creek can be dry and a tank can be mud. Filter or boil anything you drink. USGS maps no named surface water within 1 mi of the pin (National Hydrography Dataset, data refreshed October 2022).
- Ground slope around the pin: about 4.4% — gentle. Measured on USGS's 3DEP elevation model (1 m data here), sampled every 10 metres around the point. That is the hillside, not the ground under your wheels — a graded pullout or a bench a few metres across is too small to show up at that spacing, and nobody has checked this one for you.

The BLM Moab Field Office page gives site counts (Appaloosa, Buckskin and Cayuse loops, 56 RV-capable sites; Dapple loop, 28 tent sites; 10 people and two vehicles per site) but no amount, and recreation.gov lists only the five group sites; the BLM national recreation-sites GIS layer has no record for the campground. The BLM group-site page says the campground has a payment kiosk that takes credit or debit cards, so expect to pay on arrival. The group sites are $100 per night. No water.
