BLM dispersed camping / OHV area south of Las Vegas. BLM's own facility record is named "Dispersed-Jean/Roach Dry Lakes" and gives Stay limit: "14 days" (read 2026-08-17). BLM's fee field is empty; treated as free on the standard rule that undeveloped BLM land is free, and BLM charges no fee here on its own record. FLOOD WARNING, BLM's own words: "Although the name implies that the lakebed is dry, it has the potential of flooding and holding water long after a rainfall. After substantial precipitation events, the lakebed can hold several inches to several feet of water. Travel on the lakebed after a precipitation events is not recommended." [sic] TRAVEL RULE: "Outside of the dry lakebed, motorized vehicle use is limited to existing roads and trails." No facilities of any kind are described. NEAREST TOWN: Jean, NV.
