Scraggly Lake Public Land, T7 R8/R9 WELS, Penobscot/Aroostook County north of Baxter State Park. The map states: "Campsites are primitive. Each authorized site has: fire ring, picnic table, nearby privy" and "Kindle fires only in the site fire ring. Do not cut live vegetation." The map legend marks Adirondack, Birches, Hemlock Loop and Scraggly Woodland with an asterisk meaning "at Group Site" -- the Group Site is labelled (12) on the map, so those four are pitches inside a 12-unit group area, not four separate lone campsites. Back Parlor, Green Pond, Ledges, Scraggly East and Scraggly West are each labelled (1). MAINE PUBLIC RESERVED LANDS -- THE RULES THAT APPLY HERE.
