Lewis and Clark Lake SRA
Nebraska State Recreation Area (NGPC), Knox County. The park's own page says: "Lewis and Clark SRA offers campers Full Hookup, Electric Plus, Electric, Basic and Equestrian Lewis and Clark has over 150 campsites with electricity and more than 100 Basic campsites. Campgrounds include showers, picnic tables, fire ring/grills, nearby drinking water spigots (not hookups), dump and fill stations and playground. Camping is available year-round with electricity however dump and fill stations, modern shower and bathroom facilities operate from April-October, weather permitting. Camping reservations are available for 75% of the campsites in Weigand and Burbach campgrounds and can be made up to 180 days in advance. All other camping is all first-come, first-served; campers must register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each station and accept cash or checks only. An equestrian camping area with corrals is also located in the south shore area. Water is available but no electricity." The park's own page lists drinking water in the campground. That is the agency's claim about a developed tap, not a field check, and not a claim about any lake or river here -- treat all natural water as NOT potable.
