THE FEE CAVEAT ABOVE IS NOW RESOLVED, in our favour. https://www.nps.gov/natr/planyourvisit/fees.htm read 2026-08-18 states verbatim: "The Natchez Trace Parkway is free and does not charge an entrance fee, or campground fees." That is a first-party NPS sentence about Parkway campground fees, not an inference from silence, and it is exactly the sentence the note above said it could not find. fee=0 is now sourced. RESTRICTION, unchanged and important: these are BICYCLE-ONLY campgrounds. They are not usable by a car, van or RV camper, and that has to be the first thing a reader sees, not a footnote. The coordinate is still an OpenStreetMap node matched on the NPS milepost, NOT an NPS-published coordinate. DUPLICATE CHECK: every pending Mississippi row was compared BY COORDINATE (haversine, never by name) against all published and 'later' Mississippi camps. This row has no published camp within 1500 m and no other pending row within 120 m. VERDICT: HOLDS UP for what it is -- a genuinely free NPS campground, restricted to cyclists.
