PERMIT: AGFC's own Poison Springs WMA page, read 2026-08-16, says verbatim: "The Arkansas Forestry Commission has designated several areas as primitive campsites. A free permit must be obtained from them in order to use these campsites." The permit is FREE but it IS required -- ring the Division of Forestry on 870-836-5882 to reserve a campsite and get it. This is a free-with-a-phone-call site, not a turn-up-and-camp site, and the page should say so. I did NOT open the AGFC page for Poison Springs WMA this fire -- only the general WMA regulation above and AGFC's GIS support this row.
