Payment is by "self-pay camping station located off Fox Road at the overnight parking lot" -- so it is first-come and self-registered, not reserved. IDNR defines Class D as "Tent camping or primitive sites (walk-in or backpack) with no vehicular access". Centroid of the 8 IDNR points named "Rock Island Trail Campground" (66 m spread).
