Popular, free dispersed camping area south of Moab. Primitive with small fire ring. Decent view all around, set in red-rock canyon country. Multiple sites, all of which are okay. Very poor cell service, and sometimes windy. Recommended due to close proximity to Moab and ease of access.

- Surface water mapped nearby: USGS maps Colorado River as a perennial river, ~0.5 mi from the pin (National Hydrography Dataset, data refreshed October 2022). Mapped as perennial is not the same as flowing today. Nobody has checked it for you. Filter or boil anything you drink.
