Waylon Jennings RV Park (North)
FREE in the North area only: you may stay free for four 24-hour periods in the Waylon Jennings RV Park's north section (no reservations, no tents) -- the separate SOUTH section is a paid reservation site at $30/day, so make sure you're in the free north loop. This little city-owned park on Highway 385 (Hall Avenue) in Littlefield, next to the Lamb County Ag & Community Center, has about 8 spaces with electric and water hookups, a dump station, handicap access and a pet area; it's named for Littlefield-born country singer Waylon Jennings and has a memorial with his bootprints. RVs only. The town hopes you'll fuel up and shop local while you're here. Rules can change -- confirm the current free-stay policy with the City of Littlefield (City Hall 301 XIT Dr) before you rely on it, and be a considerate guest so the free stay stays open.
