How it was placed
SEASONAL AND LICENSE-RESTRICTED. ODNR: camping permitted "in the designated camping area from the last Friday in September through the third Monday in May only and for no more than 14 consecutive days. All campers are required to have a valid hunting, fishing, or trapping license. 32 primitive sites are currently available on a first come, first served basis. No more than 2 motor vehicles and 2 tents are permitted at each designated campsite. Combined vehicle and camper length is limited to a maximum length of 34 feet." Legal basis OAC 1501:31-9-02, which permits camping on only four Ohio wildlife areas and requires a valid Ohio hunting/fishing licence or fur taker permit at Woodbury; that rule caps stays at 24 hours year-round except roughly Sept 26 - May 24, when 14 days per 30-day period applies. ODNR GIS carries TWO campground points for the single 32-site designated area; this is the northern one.
