Located in Luce County, 31 miles northeast of Newberry. This campground is managed by Tahquamenon Falls State Park . DNR LONGER DESCRIPTION: This secluded, rustic campground is located on the northwest side of Bodi Lake. The lake offers great opportunities for walleye and pike fishing. There is a boat launch on the north side of the lake for small watercrafts, kayaks and canoes. The Bodi Lake Pathway can be accessed directly from the campground and is a 1.25-mile hike through the forest and along the lakeshore. Additionally, the national North Country Trail is nearby and can be accessed at Culhane Lake state forest campground . There are 12 sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 31 miles northeast of Newberry via M-123 and County Roads 500 and 437. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
