Located in Luce County, 29 miles north of Newberry. This campground is managed by Tahquamenon Falls State Park . DNR LONGER DESCRIPTION: This secluded, rustic campground sits on the banks of the Two Hearted River. The Two Hearted River is a champion salmon and steelhead river, making this campground a popular destination for anglers in the fall and spring. The Two Hearted River is also a popular river for kayakers and canoers, and a carry-in launch area is accessible from the campground. There are seven sites for tent and small trailer use. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 29 miles north of Newberry via M-123 and County Roads 500, 407 and 410. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
