FIRST NIGHT IS FREE, then $20/night (7-night max) -- a free-first-night tier, NOT a wholly free campground. RV / self-contained only, in the small RV area on the WEST side of Lamar City Park; NO tent camping is allowed at any Lamar city facility, and there is NO camping at Lamar City Lake. Three electric hookups (30/50-amp), a frost-free water hydrant and a central dump station; first-come, register by calling the number posted on the campground sign. Right in town -- the classic 'camp a night, shop local' setup (Lamar is Harry Truman's birthplace). Confirm the current policy with the City of Lamar before you go.
