Nebraska State Recreation Area (NGPC), Scotts Bluff County. The park's own page says: "Lake Minatare SRA offers campers Electric Plus, Basic and Primitive campsites throughout several campgrounds. Camping reservations are available 180 days in advance for half of the campsites during peak season at Lake View and Butte View campgrounds. All other camping is first-come, first-served; campers must register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each station and accept cash or checks only." The park's own page does not mention water. Assume none and carry your own; treat all natural water here as NOT potable.

USGS’s Protected Areas Database (PAD-US 4.1, queried 2026-09-23) lists the ground at this pin as Lake Minatare, manager on record: Bureau of Reclamation (federal). Our own record names NGPC as the manager. The two sources disagree, and we have not checked which is right. That names who holds the land — it is not a statement that camping is permitted here.
