Two ways in, both steep: 3.5 miles from the Rainbow Falls Trailhead via Rainbow Falls -> Institute Creek -> North Wrangell trails for a 2,500-FOOT ELEVATION GAIN, or 2.6 miles from the North Wrangell Trailhead on the Spur Road Extension for a 2,000-foot gain. No stay limit stated. Restrooms: Outhouse. Water: the page states plainly that potable water is not available at this site.
