Bureau of Land Management lists this site. On most of their ground you can camp away from developed sites pretty much anywhere — so treat this as a known-good spot, not the only one allowed. The unit sets stay limits and how far off road and water you must be. What changes is conditions — roads, gates, closures, fire rules. Check those with the unit before you commit to the drive.

Snow, and when this opens

The nearest automatic snow station is East Rim Divide at 8,010 ft, about 9 miles away. It sits about 523 ft higher than this camp, so treat it as a guide rather than a reading for this spot. We do not repeat a depth here, because any number we stored would be stale by the time you read it — the station publishes today's.

Confidence
Likely — The record is good enough to put a pin on, but thin in places. Treat the details as a starting point, not gospel.
How it was placed
BLM campground on the Green River north of Pinedale. FEE -- IT IS A FEE SITE BUT BLM PUBLISHES NO RATE: the description opens "The Warren Bridge Campground is a fee campground located off of US 191", and BLM's Fees field is EMPTY and the live page has no Fees section. So `fee` is set to 1 on BLM's own sentence, but THE PRICE IS UNKNOWN and a reviewer must get it from the Pinedale Field Office before this ships. SITES: "There are 16 pull-through developed campsites, 6 developed picnic sites, 3 double vault toilets, RV dump station, 23 tables, trash cans, fire rings, and barbecue grills. Drinking water provided at each campsite." AN RV DUMP STATION -- worth carrying for that alone. ELEVATION 7,600 ft, "surrounded by rolling sagebrush covered hills". ACCESS: "located 20 miles north of Pinedale on US highway 191. RV campers should slow down early since the access road is located immediately south of the bridge on the Green River." NOTE FOR THE REVIEWER: we already carry "Upper Green River Recreation Area" ~421 m away, which is the umbrella rec area; this is the campground inside it. Also distinct from BLM's separate "Warren Bridge River Access Area" upstream. BLM's standard stay limit on Wyoming public land is 14 days; where BLM states it on the site's own page it is quoted below. Coordinate is BLM's own published facility point from gis.blm.gov/arcgis/rest/services/recreation/BLM_Natl_Recreation_Sites_Facilities (read 2026-08-17), cross-checked against the Geographic Coordinates printed on the site's own blm.gov page. It is a facility pin, not a surveyed campsite. SOURCE: https://www.blm.gov/visit/search-details/14720/1 --- NIGHT-SHIFT REVIEW 2026-08-19 (nightshift-verified) -- APPROVED. Re-fetched https://www.blm.gov/visit/search-details/14720/1 this fire. The page is live and still titled "Warren Bridge Campground | Wyoming". The fee claim still rests on BLM's own first sentence, unchanged: "The Warren Bridge Campground is a fee campground located off of US 191 adjacent to the famous Green River in Sublette County." The description still says "16 pull-through developed campsites, 6 developed picnic sites, 3 double vault toilets, RV dump station, 23 tables, trash cans, fire rings, and barbecue grills. Drinking water provided at each campsite." BLM's printed Geographic Coordinates are still 43.01763, -110.118261, matching this row to the digit. Cross-checked the same day against gis.blm.gov/arcgis/rest/services/recreation/BLM_Natl_Recreation_Sites_Facilities (layer 8, BLM Natl RIDB Facilities Camping). NOTE ON THE FEE FIELD: the page has no Fees section and BLM's GIS FacilityUseFeeDescription is blank, so no rate is published anywhere I can reach. Unlike the four rows I held tonight, though, BLM here says in plain words that it IS a fee campground, so fee=1 is sourced and the map will label it "fee site" rather than free. Only the amount is unknown; Pinedale Field Office, 307-367-5300. Kept alongside the published "Upper Green River Recreation Area" (blm/620) 421 m away: that is the area pin, this is the campground. Nothing this row claims has changed since it was written.
Field check
On the agency's books. The land manager inventoried this site, so its existence is not in question — current conditions are. Nobody from here has camped it recently.

What we don’t know

A land record can put you within a few metres of a spot. It cannot tell you any of this — so check it yourself, and treat anything below as the open question it is.

Before you go

Been here? Tell us what changed. This page is built from public records, so the fastest way it gets better is somebody who has actually pulled in. Road washed out, site gone, gate locked, or it is exactly as described — all of it useful. Send a report →
