No dollar amount in the agency record -- expect a charge and confirm the current rate before you go. Not field-verified. | Fee 2026-08-22: budget $28 per night for a single site, not the $26 the forest page shows -- the agency's channels disagree and the forest page looks stale. Mt. Hood's own Hoodview Campground (Timothy Lake) page says $26 single and $22 hike-in, but the Forest Service recreation-site record says $28 single and $24 hike-to, and recreation.gov's 2026 peak season (May 22 to Sep 26) charges $28 standard, $24 hike-to and $30 premium. Two channels out of three say $28, and recreation.gov is what you actually pay. Extra vehicles are $10 per vehicle per night and there is a $2 per night holiday surcharge, on which all channels agree. This campground has no public day use area -- day use is for registered campers only.
