Ask an AI about this campsiteOpens Grok already loaded with this site. It reads the same records this page is built from, and links whatever it tells you.
Ask about this camp →U.S. Forest Service lists this as a developed campground. Expect marked sites, a fee station or a reservation, and the usual campground rules. The dispersed-camping freedom of the surrounding forest does not apply inside it. What changes is conditions — roads, gates, closures, fire rules. Check those with the unit before you commit to the drive.

Confidence
Likely — The record is good enough to put a pin on, but thin in places. Treat the details as a starting point, not gospel.
How it was placed
Developed FEE campground (not free) - review | published 2026-08-01: fee campground, labelled as fee per policy (label, do not hide) | Fee 2026-08-22: $17 per single site per night and $25 per double site -- NOT $77. The $77 is the rate for a reserved group site (Lark, Plover or Hawk, 1-30 people), and the Forest Service recreation dataset wrongly carries that group figure as this record's single-site rate. Day use of the group picnic area is separate: $84 per day for 1-50 people, $169 for 51-100, $255 for 101-150 and $339 for 151-200. Interagency Senior and Access passes halve the basic campground fee. Two agency sources agree on $17/$25/$77: the campground page (updated Aug 11 2026) and the ARP campground status table (updated Aug 20 2026), which gives the season as May 1 to Nov 8. recreation.gov lists $25 standard and $77 group for May 1 to Nov 7 2026. What we don’t know about Crow Valley
A land record can put you within a few meters of a spot. It cannot tell you any of this — so check it yourself, and treat anything below as the open question it is.
- Road surface & last-mile access
- How many rigs actually fit
- Cell coverage by carrier
- Seasonal & winter access
- Current fire restrictions
- Whether any water here is drinkable
- Shade & wind exposure
- Noise and who else shows up
- Whether a listed EV charger works today, or the road miles to it
