Ask an AI about this campsiteOpens Grok already loaded with this site. It reads the same records this page is built from, and links whatever it tells you.
Ask about this camp →U.S. Forest Service lists this as a developed campground. Expect marked sites, a fee station or a reservation, and the usual campground rules. The dispersed-camping freedom of the surrounding forest does not apply inside it. What changes is conditions — roads, gates, closures, fire rules. Check those with the unit before you commit to the drive.

Confidence
Likely — The record is good enough to put a pin on, but thin in places. Treat the details as a starting point, not gospel.
How it was placed
Developed FEE campground (not free) - review | auto:usfs-fee 2026-08-20: US Forest Service developed campground, agency coordinates, agency states a fee. No dollar amount in the agency record -- expect a charge and confirm the current rate before you go. Not field-verified. | Fee 2026-08-24: $13 per night, single site. This is one of the 17 Green River float-in campsites; recreation.gov files it as campsite "Trails End", type BOAT IN, inside facility 250036 (Green River Float-In Campsites), 0.21 mi from our pin, and its current 2026-01-01 to 2026-12-31 block reads $13. The Forest Service recreation-site record gives the same $13 single site. Two things to budget for on top: the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area Recreational Use Pass, $5 day / $15 week / $35 annual, which the Ashley NF says is not sold online; and a possible winter rate -- Trails End has no page of its own, but the Ashley NF pages for its neighbouring float-in camps (e.g. Bootleg River Camp) state $13.00/night with winter fees of $5.00/night from October 1 to March 31. - Seasonal & winter access
