No dollar amount in the agency record -- expect a charge and confirm the current rate before you go. Not field-verified. | Fee 2026-08-22: two Forest Service sources disagree. The Stanislaus National Forest page for Mosquito Lakes says, under "Fee Site and Info", "No fee" (page last updated April 8, 2025); the Forest Service recreation-sites database still carries "Single Site: $20 per night" for the same site.
